The cognitive dissonance is deafening. As long as their "team" wins, who cares, right? Next time anyone speaks to a "conservative", tell them what is going on in NC and Wisconsin but start off with "did you hear what the Democratic party is doing in a state they lose??". I did to a person I know, he was absolutely flipping out about it until I told him it was actually his party that was. He quickly changed topics. Literally, silence for 3 seconds then switched to sports.
Where in Wisconsin? The lady's sister lives up there. I can't stress how cheap that place is for alcohol. I've never seen anything like it in my life.

Ah yeah, she's north of there in Oshkosh. Really liked Wisconsin, great state.
It's nice in the north of the state but I'm a city boy. Still kinda weird to me that there's no sidewalk outside my house, my family think I'm in the country. People from Wisconsin think I'm in the city.

It says he would never vote for a Democrat and "can't wait" to vote for President Donald Trump again. It also says he didn't own a slave and doesn't owe anyone low-income housing assistance.

It's not just North Carolina, though there does seem to be some sort of black hole hovering above the Tarheel State pulling every single bad thing up into the media these days. I love that state, have visited many times, have a niece who's a proud NC State grad - this, though, it's one horrid thing that he thinks it, but then he demonstrates the amazing stupidity to express it!

Had a look at this thread. The amount of people that come in with "interns shouldn't be paid" is ridiculous. Room and board isn't covered during summer breaks and they expect normal people to have the finances to work for free for 3 months whilst living in DC. If ignorance was a commodity the markets would be flying.
They need to build dorms or apartments for congressional members, staff and interns.
I'm thinking asset forfeiture of the Trump DC hotel would work
