This is likely the most anti-Trump end of the respectable GOP legal establishment. Within the Trumpist factions, they are already being debunked due to the rumored financial backing of Pierre Omidyar, the eBay billionaire and progressive donor. Wheels within wheels.

Long term, we'll see.

Are they anti-Trump or are they pro rule of law?

I suppose it doesn't matter.

Oh the irony.
Avenatti charged over domestic abuse. Innocent until proven guilty ofcourse(due process), although liberals we screaming during the Kavanaugh witch hunt "we believe women"

Lets see how SNL deals with this.

I could be wrong of course but I don't think you'll find many Democrats who actually like Avenatti. Personally I think the Stormy Daniels stuff was mostly true but he hijacked it for fame and got addicted leading to him constantly searching for more crazy stuff to send at the president. Hopefully this is the end of him.

Weird how much joy you're taking in the possible abuse of a woman, disturbing even

It’s odd a very odd even unpleasant kind of schadenfreude , in this modern political world it also feels odd that to my knowledge people aren’t defending it . They are already stepping away from him , exactly as happened in different circumstances with Al Franken. It’s almost as if people not defending behaviour even if they politically support the alleged offender is the norm.

I also accept he’s got a right to due process as well .

He did very good work with the Cohen stuff - wish he’d stayed along those lines, rather than some of the ridiculous attention seeking, and the laughable intention to run in 2020.

We’ll see what comes of this - the initial story was that the victim was his ex wife, but she’s denied it - but wouldn’t especially surprise me if he’s guilty.

Either way, he’s done for 2020.

I sincerely hope it’s not true, since it would mean no one had to go through such a horrendous ordeal (the woman, not him) but the 2020 part is no bad thing.

Putting aside you seem to be celebrating an assault on a woman , which to be honest is a little bit unpleasant I presume you mean like when the liberal Al franken was accused of inappropriate behaviour, what happened to him ? Did he retain the full support of did they call on him to quit ? I mean it certainly seems to completely contrast with say Roy Moore , rob porter who was pretty well defended by trump , trump himself of course and Kavanaugh but those libs hey .

It's tough when your little champion turns out to be pitiful wife beater isnt it...
Thats what I was saying and you know it. Youre just twisting words and deliberately understanding it wrong.
