How so? Cause I say Avenati deserves due process even if he is a total slime ball?
Once again, your words "It's tough when your little champion turns out to be pitiful wife beater isnt it "

I've no love for Avenatti - I do think he was good in representing Stormy Daniels, and then got carried away with what he saw as public adoration, so he's reaching for more. He does deserve due process, as do other accused abusers. You're not out of line pointing out irony in this instance - you are out of line taking apparent joy in accusations of abuse.

There’s not even any irony to point out to be honest.
The amount of “ahhhhh, you said believe all women when it was Kavanaugh” is just bizarre, since I’ve not seen one liberal assume that the allegation is fabricated.

In fact most have immediately disavowed him. Those that hadn’t already due to him being annoying, that is.

In fact, even if this WAS some sort of fabricated accusation to “own the libs”, Jacob Wohl or whatever bottomfeeder orchestrated it would have done the Dems a massive favour, as true or not, it takes him out of the picture for 2020 - the left really didn’t need him running, even as nothing more than a distraction

I’m not an Avenatti fan and I’m happy to take it at face value but the Wohl tweet and subsequent pointing of the finger of Avenatti towards that direction as well is certainly intriguing.

Maine House Race, 2nd District, flips to a Democrat - first time that ranked voting has been used to determine winner in a federal race.

Blues fans, is ranked voting used at all in your local / regional / national elections, wherever that may be?

I like this idea of ranked ballots. It could save from costly runoff elections, and would encourge 3rd party candidates/voting for 3rd party candidates.

I especially like that the Republican lost the lawsuit trying to prevent the ranked ballots from being counted. Typical Republican move of trying to supress the vote.

I do think it may help with 3rd party efforts. While I'm happy to see that district flip Blue, I'm not sure that a Dem wouldn't have been trying the lawsuit route had the results been reversed. People are people and want to win.

I disagree. Utah 04 the Dem is leading but the Republican is gaining and is likely going to win.

The Dem didn't file any lawsuits to supress votes, but the Republican did...tried to supress votes from more left leaning areas.

Glad to hear it - just hard to extrapolate to a population on small sample size. I'm a Dem supporter, contributor and volunteer - I also know we're all human. GOP certainly appears to want to be more restrictive in voting rights across the country - change is a scary thing. I just don't want to pretend that Dems are perfect, cuz, well, we're not.
