Interesting one.

Would represent a slight Democrat upset win, but critically this is Kentucky - it's an achievement she's in the running at all there.
She looked a great candidate but as you say it is Kentucky. Although to regain the House Dems need to flip some of the seats like this, the Comstock VA10 like seats that went for Hillary won’t be enough.

I'm pretty sure the Republicans will hold both, even if the house is held narrowly.

Which of course would be a disastrous result for the Democrats.

The problem I see is that I see no clear figurehead for them emerging as an electoral hope. They seem in disarray and relying on celebs to do their job on social media - and that echo chamber, as we all know by now, doesn't translate to votes.

We'll see though.

Biden brings you PA, Michigan, Ohio, Wisconsin and most likely Florida - he can relate to Floridans as Delaware is the Florida of the north. If winning the election is priority 1 then he's your best shot.

That being said he's from the Clinton-Obama school of moderation, triangulation, and being too cozy to banks. So that would be the trade-off. Warren is probably most intune to the big economic problems and would be a better president, but its a bigger risk and she'll get bloodied by the monied wing of Dem party the same way even worse than what Bernie did. If Beto somehow pulls a win out of his behind he has a shot (he's a moderate tho too).
