This about sums it up tbh , I had to say this very thing to Mrs Twain the other day! She accepted it graciously, promised to do a job to the best of her abilities but not get in the way of progress! Are you listening Gareth?
His first action was a superb block on Samuel Eto'o right in front of me.

Ace. And he's been ace.

But it's time for him to be phased out.

pretty sure it was the one footed tortoise who gave the ball away for that chance, get rid, no mercy, another weak leader we can do without in a dressing room full of spineless jellies, him and fat jags can do one

Again I'm going to question why we have him a new deal! I remember when we first signed him for three years I thought he would struggle in his second! He's now getting a fourth year madness!

If we want to build a side to challenge for the top four we need to get rid of these older players who are past it and built a younger energetic team that can be built upon for years to come instead of having to constantly replace the team and change it up..

Same with Stek why sign a keeper who's no good and old? Surely get a younger quality keeper who can play for years and years and you can build a team around

Yeah agree on both players, Barry has been a good player for us but at this stage in his game he will at times mess up badly, we just cant rely on his. As for Stek, we more or less bought him out of retirement, one of the stupidest signings ever, couldnt even get a seat on the bench for a side that came 20th in the Championship!

I'd imagine he's desperate to get these 20 odd games to surpass Giggs record.

I hope he doesn't reach it playing for us.
Im happy for him having cameo sub appearances to make it past gigs record, as long as it's for a few minutes and we are 2-0 up. It's a shame because he is a good player but his lack of pace seems to be contributing to our problems.

Agreed. But after the first few games, and we were in second place, everyone was raving about Stek.
