true story: i was sat on the tube next to a bloke reading a GOT book (Game of Thrones, that is..not Grand Old Team, ffs).
As a (nights)watcher of the TV series I couldn't help but glance at the words...in the two or three stops he sat next to me I got through only about 3 pages, and goddamnit read 3 major spoilers! Like the most major of major spoilers about what will happen to certain major characters.

only started watching this recently, caught up now and i must admit i am really looking forward to the new series.
The problem i have with the thing though is that anything of any interest is kept at arms length to keep you watching. For example;
1. I am a warlock...gone after season 2
2. You are a Waarg harry........no real mention apart from the bird and mckenzie crook.
3. Fire god is the one true god, lets not show you much of him eh?
4. White walkers in the north? Only need to show them twice in the season, not like they are clearly important to the story or anything...
Anybody agree?

Read all the books since the last series. Can't wait for this one, a Storm of Swords part 2 is easily the best book imo.
