The end of the program will be Daenyris sitting on the throne. Otherwise whats the point in her character?

sam will die at some point. He is too loveable so to speak for him to outlast everyone else. Plus he is fat, clearly that will factor in.

Perhaps the story will rip off Lord of the ring? Alan Snow (frodo) and Sam (sam) as the main characters?

How is the lanasters going to be removed from throne? the fact that they of all people are there is not a suprise, but they cant stay there for the entire story can they?

At what point does the story start and end with the White walkers? Clearly as its the first thing in the book/tv show they are important but considering you have a giant army of them roaming around currently, with only sam running into 1 its all a bit odd.

And for anyone who doesnt think the show will end with daneryis on the throne, watch season one, who's the last scene of? Season 2? Season 3?

Definitely mate. The books are great, better than the show for me. There's so much more detail to them and you'll notice all the changes they've made in the show.

100% yes, I read them after season 1 having not read a book for quite a few years, totally renewed my interest in reading, they are addictive, real page turners.

Really enjoyed the first three and read them very close together as they were so addictive.

Hadn't found a book series as compelling since the First Man in Rome.

Didn't enjoy the fourth as much, not sure if it was just too much reading all four books in a row, the storyline itself or the way I read them. I was mixing reading the books with listening to the audiobooks, which are usually a great way to finish books if you don't have the time to sit still and read as you can listen whilst you do boring stuff like drive. However the narrator, who had been excellent in the first three books, suddenly changed his character voices and pronunciation which really threw me off.

Anyhow, hearty recommendation for at least the first three boks and I liked the fifth as well!

Yeah, Martin has a habit of killing off important characters and doing something completely unexpected with the storyline - and that is not in any way a spoiler just a comment on his style.

The books are infinitely superior to the show which in comparison is just Benny Hill with swords.

I reckon the ending of the Game of thrones is an allmighty battle with the dragons, with them all slain peace enters the land.

Meanwhile Tyrian has been sleeping with every whore in Westeros the whole time.

And the very end of the story one of the dragons who isnt dead flies to a mountain full of riches where tyrian and his endless family are now living.

Then in walks Gandalf......
