Did Sansa really call herself an 'ass'? We're an episode away from 'sidewalk', 'sneakers' and other Americanisms.

Yet another reference to the fact Varys is a eunoch.

Scene with Davos, Melisandre and Brienne felt very forced. I would have thought he would just assume that Shireen and Stannis were killed during the battle, but only now, 5 episodes from her burning, is he asking about specifics out of the blue. And then Brienne just comes along and outright declares that she was the one who killed Stannis, and that she suspects/knows that Melisandre was involved in Renly's murder too. Then walks away? Odd.

Liked Yara and Theon scene. Although still not sure why he considers the Iron Islands 'home', but there we are.

It's great seeing Ramsey winning all the time. Not utterly boring at all.

Thing with davos is he was always suspcious of melisandre so im not surprised he was asking questions

Aye, sooner than now though, surely? He'd rather look after a corpse of a stranger and then prod Mel to resurrect said corpse before asking about the details.

Some scenes or lines of dialogue just seems so forced and fan-servicey.

Ass as in Donkey. Not arse.

that big dumb knobhead brienne boasting about killing an unarmed stannis, she should have been eaten by the bear ages ago, who was actually a more interesting character, but you just know them two virgins will keep her till the end, they will probably re-do the wildling attack and have her saving the wall instead of stannis the utter quegs

I thought the Yara/Theon scene was the worst of the episode, to be honest. Theon is so pathetic a creature - as Yara said, he betrayed her and her men and has had keys bits of his anatomy removed, he also betrayed everyone he has ever served and was utterly useless when given any kind of power - that it is hard to see why she would react in the way that she did when he said he wanted to help her. There is no help that he can give; he would disgrace anyone he tried to support.

Though admittedly the Cersei/Jaime vs Kevan and Diana Rigg scene did run it close in terms of badness - its been two episodes and two "youse aren't allowed in the small council!!!!!1" scenes and nothing has happened.
