Technically, Roose Bolton would still be Lord of Winterfell with Roose as his rightful heir even if one of the Stark children turned up. Of course such technicalities are entirely dependent on how big an army you can raise to back your claim - A Stark child could probably rely on a number of bannermen still loyal to the Starks and the likes of Riverrun and possibly the Iron Islands but that wouldn't be enough to beat a Roose army backed by the Lannisters.

Hence the Dorne stuff this season....probably.

Has there been any mention of who is Lord of the Stormlands? With all the Baratheons dead (Except Robert's [Poor language removed]) and the Lannisters on shaky ground I would have thought Tommen would have been quick to give the title to someone loyal.

Wasn't jorah it was a dayne I believe, or a kingsguard.

Dorne plot is beyond stupid.


Oberyn's whole plot revolved around getting revenge for his murdered family members. And to avenge him, the Sand Snakes decide to murder his brother and his nephew. Somehow, I don't think Oberyn would approve.
