Those hounds of death that looked more like Columbo's dog? They probably just wandered off, they weren't his killer dogs from the previous season, they were just sniffer mutts.

The ring was bang in the middle of a clearly defined circle, created after those Dothraki chaps circled around her looking all threatening.

Saying that, it was all a bit poo.

its convo between them as well, feels more like a recap for the audience than anything else, I get the need to do that, but the moments that were in the first four series, which didn't really advance any of the plots but did an awful lot for character development seem to haven vanished, and thats a shame a shame as there were some great ones

Basically the writers are having thousands of Dothraki warriors circle a woman in order to create a clearly defined small circle so a ring could be found to further the narrative !
