Now come on, yes, there were issues, but that meme about Cersei and the writers 'forgetting' Fetal Alcohol Syndrome

In a medieval society? What next, should Jamie have popped into the Kings Landing Walk-In centre to have his hand looked at?

My mother almost went into labour in the pub, and that was only 1961!!

Well yes I agree that the complaint about the fetal alcohol syndrome is silly. However the bigger point being made was that the writers made her pregnant then just did nothing about it for some reason. They either did so by accident because they honestly forgot about it, or they did it deliberately because they're bad writers who made her pregnant for shock value without any plan going forward. Either way it's shocking writing.

the whole point of game of thrones before it went all micheal bay was the futility of war and how these quests of honour or vengeance between petty family squabbles cause nothing but utter devastation to the masses, you can't tie every characters storyline off with a nice little bow on top, its cheap to do so

And that is all great and why GoT has been tremendous, all the scheming and subplots, but when it comes to the last play, the final of everything, you want a proper finale, and we didn’t get that, storylines that had built over several seasons were just cast aside.

Snow kills Deny
Snow becomes King, I mean how doesn’t he?, it’s ridiculous to play it otherwise.
Arya the assassin kills Cersei, would have been a much more dramatic ending than the one we got.

And that’s why there’s a lot of fans around the world not happy about it.

Put it this way them two are doing the new Star Wars movie, doesn’t fill us with any hope it will be any good does it, the general consensus is GoT went downhill as soon as they got involved.

It isn't ridiculous imo, it would be more ridiculous in the context of the source material to have a perfect ending. There are plenty of mediums where that suits perfectly well but GOT wasn't one of them.

I still dont see how this is the same. He's sneering at her and not giving her what she wants. I think everyone can agree she snaps in those situations and has done throughout the series.

When the bells had rung at Kings Landing and she'd all but defeated the enemy. Instead of going for Cersei, the main opponent, she decided to burn innocent children who had never insulted or wronged her in her life.

TBF I think its exactly the same; she makes her usual I am the rightful ruler of the Seven Kingdoms speech and, when questioned or challenged, snaps.

It isn't as if she is repeatedly told this either - Viserys used to do it to her, Jorah tells her what the common people actually want, Barristan tells her what Rhaegar was like, the Spice King tells her there about what people who aren't her think, Mirri (and her own eyes) showed her what Drogo was like, Tyrion and Varys at different times try to explain that she cannot just impose her will on everyone, and in this season she comes face to face with what she has done when she meets Sam after executing his father and brother (after they'd surrendered).

She ignores them all, and puts her faith in her dragons and the people who she thinks are completely beholden to her because of things she did - Missandei and Grey Worm.

Genuinely can’t believe how bad that last episode was (and particularly from the split second Dany died).

That second half was proper woeful

Not to sound like a book ponce, but those of us who read the books were more or less certain the series would end in her going nuts. It's foreshadowed loads

Didn't the TV series move away from the books a long time ago.

She'd had those dragons since they hatched. They came through the youth system and her Net Spend was smaller than anyone's

Star Wars is crappy family friendly sci fi with terrible writing, they’ll fit in perfect. Hollywood in general is perfect for them,
