Full of Optimism today!

The replies in this thread shows me a lot about your personalities. Glass half empty type people. Always looking for faults and can't see the ambition I visualise and determination. My characteristics shine through, I'm positive. No offence, but I'm fed up of hearing the same old "mediocrity"

It's not like you listen much though Mick. But you're right, your characteristics do 'shine through'.

MICK I WROTE THIS

I know and I agree with you. Cheers.

If someone else wrote this thread it would've been:-

"Nice 1 John"

Good piece that Dave!

Top stuff mate, I agree.

Loving the optimism mate!

But because its me, it's "here we go again" "this guys crazy blah blah blah"

Everything I said in my original post is quite true. Roberto is optimistic himself so is he being ridiculed? No.

It's good that you are positive mate. I just think a lot of us are aware that it is early days with a new manager and whilst the positivity from our manager is a breath of fresh air, we are only 5 games in and 3 of those were disappointing draws.

It's is easy to get carried away after 2 wins, but there's certainly nothing wrong with that. Some of us are probably scarred by previous times we have had the chance to go unbeaten or "go up to fourth in the table with an easy win" only to be dissapointed.

Forget about the goals, he works tirelessly every minute he's on that pitch, he has heart and he does a good job. I'm fed up of hearing people slate him now, you probably don't even watch him.

You couldnt be more wrong mate. Sometimes I ONLY watch Naismith to see what he does when defending and how he makes himself available to our players when we get the ball back. Trust me....hes appauling. The useless cart should have had a trick against fulham! His normal trick is once we have the ball, unless hes 10 yards away, he runs into spaces that Xavi couldnt pass to him in, he basically doesnt want the ball.

So instead of following the ball, for 10 minutes tonight watch this sack of 5hit, then come back on here and tell me how good he is.

I keep saying over and over again, work rate and fitness is the bare minimum expectation from a pro athlete.

No coincidence that its always the technically 5hite players are the ones who just run round all day putting a shift in.

Im sick of arguing with evertonians that he isnt fkin useless tbh cos ive got no idea what some people are watching.

Apart from that, im really confident about the manager and tonight. But he still isnt a world class manager after 6 games in charge

I share you optimism mate, but all we've done is won a couple of league games on the bounce.

As long as we go out tonight and have a full-bloodied go at winning the damn thing then I'll be satisfied. That's all I've ever asked in exchange for my support.
