Yes, that's right. Dead Soft. Not soft lad, which is a common derogatory expression.

Just admit you lost your cool and made a hypocritical ad hominem personal attack ;)
if you think "soft lad" is derogatory, then i've got a snowflake to sell you.

how about "dead soft lad"?

Brexit, trump, a tory government that enables the far right.

I’m interested in how much dominance the “new left” have, considering the rise of populism and far right rhetoric across the globe.
Look at all the major corporations, and most of the mainstream & social media. Woke is utterly dominant. It's in-yer-face. They are the Establishment, not the rebellion.

Brexit, Trump, Tories are expressions of people-power. The rebellion.

This is mild compared to previous years. I think the clique have all been banned from Current Affairs lol

I mean, I don’t know where to start with this FB. I think there’s a couple of decent points in there about how our youthful transgressions shouldn’t follow us around forever, but there’s a lot of talk about the fascist left, and ‘common sense’ which is a bit bewildering to me.

As often with these subjects there’s a kernel of truth which is being overstated and overblown, in my opinion.
Also good post.

@ForeverBlue92 deffo made a strong point about the trangressions of youth, and there is most definitely fascist tendencies from the new Left. But I enjoy your calm balance, Amw.

ahahaha...tapping out just as I call you out on your "nonsense" comment. Check out that Forbes link, thump-lad.
Not tapping out at all, I had a job to do involving a motion sensor and a large kangaroo. I'm back now. Not sure for how long, depends on what other intruders I have onsite tonight.

I should add that I'm unlikely to engage with you much now I've interacted with you a fair bit. I can see why other posters advised against it. Don't take that personally, it's just a bit pointless going around in circles and I'm afraid I can't take you seriously.

Your job sounds much more exciting than mine.

Again, you’re just peddling alt right nonsense.

Brexit, trump, tories isn’t people power. It’s the establishment working with the right wing media to take control.

Have a look at how Brexit really transpired and the people involved. Same with Trump. The new left isn’t the dominant voice on mainstream media.

Hearing grown men use terms like "wokeism" and "fascist left" makes me want to cringe my own face off
don't cringe your face off, prev! we need you x

Exercise your right to free speech and put the whopper on ignore please. I imagine he does about 3-4 FREE ONLINE IQ TESTS! a day.
i've only ever done an IQ test once, back in mid-00's for a job interview. don't think it proves much either way.

have you done one?

Quite right. I mean Twitter let Trump threaten nuclear war on their platform. Literally he threatened nuclear war on Twitter, and that was fine, ultimately because he made them a load of money.
the thing is: Trump's bark is bigger than his bite, and he understands the macho-psychology of strongman-leadership. It was a deffo bluff. Kim, we must admit, was on quite good behaviour during the Trump era.

Not tapping out, but also not attempting to refute that Forbes article, which contradicts your previous claim that my post about Trump pushing the vaccine was "nonsense".

It's ok to admit one was wrong, it's healthy even. Helps growth. Even I'm wrong sometimes.

Point being, re Trump, he certainly must have broke the Twitter Ts and Cs there. But they turned a blind eye. If there was some Big Tech agenda to silence prominent right wing voices, Trump gave them ample opportunity on many occasions to pull the trigger, but they didn’t. Until the bitter end.

Your job sounds much more exciting than mine.
Haha it's really not exciting. Since Covid shut down the live music venues I've had to take some part time work doing night time security at a partially demolished power station. Nobody onsite apart from me and a mob of kangaroos setting off motion sensors and damaging fencing. Oh, and the occasional meth head breaking in to steal copper wiring! Most of the time I get paid to read/watch Netflix/post on here.

This is mild compared to previous years. I think the clique have all been banned from Current Affairs lol

They aren't but, unlike me, they know better than to go down this rabbit hole. It's good to have you back D, but I'll be ignoring your daily wire cut and paste jobs and your attempts to intellectualise Trump. See you on the Everton forum

Fixed that for you x

It's the very definition of people-power, for they vote. Ok, Trump lost now, but he still gained 13m more votes than 2020.

The people reject Woke. The Establishment embrace it.

This is clear to any halfway-objective observer.

The booing of bending the knee at England matches should be a further clue.

Still not attempting to tackle that Forbes piece? You still think what I said about Trump pushing the vaccine is "nonsense"?

Why is it okay for you to say you won't engage with arguments but not okay for them?

I also imagine this wasn't the first time you've asked someone if they've done an IQ test online

The establishment is the tories, so nothing you’re saying is clear. It’s alt right nonsense really.

Once you admit to and apologise for making a hypocritical ad hominem attack then we can talk. Until then I'll stand by my previous comment that I can't take you seriously. This precludes me from clicking on any of your links or continuing the debate with you. Hope you understand.
