Frank Lampard

Even if his goal return was halved as a result of playing with poorer players at Everton, he'd still be bringing a similar goal return to Cahill at his peak.

Some Evertonians have a perverse logic, they'd have a finished Cahill who still has to serve a 3 match ban back in the squad, they think Fellaini is better than Peter Beardsley in his prime, and they wouldn't bring in Lampard because he "Only scores 15 goals a season, and just scoring goals isn't good enough".

I measure centre midfielders on whether they are better than Phil Neville so that he never has to play there again... Frank Lampard is most definitely better than Phil Neville in CM so this transfer gets my approval.

haha, not wrong, as if a player of his calibre could somehow prove to be detrimental to us.

But he'd be 35 by the time we were to 'sign' him and he's hardly mobile enough to be playing CM. Imagine Lampard and Neville CM, its making me physically shudder.

Franks Dad likes Everton, but he says he prefers West Hams style of football circa 1979.

I do not think we will see Frank wearing Everton colours, unless he is swapping shirts at the end of a match.

Great at clubs where's he's allowed a free role to do **** all other than shoot at goal, carried by the other players. Would be extra bad here, Neville and Osman don't even do enough to justify their own selection.

Surely considering how few goals we are currently scoring despite all of our possession, it would be a good thing to have a player who can put the ball in the net consistently from 10 to 25 yards?
