Former Everton Centre Forward Duncan Ferguson steps into management.....

Wouldn't surprise me mate, you know who his agent is don't you?

Rino Maiola aka Rick Maylor who owned the milk factory down the road for 30 years, flogged it, moved to Devon for 5 years, came back with a fancy name, leather slip ons and a beard.
That old pisshead is managing players now? Worked at that milk factory for a few months but never saw a cent in pay from that scumbag.

It was never confirmed but there was reports a few years back of badgers being found in the area with bruised nipples.
I just thought it was cos Danny Rowe had been released from prison again

I remember that time when space scientist Dr May put down his rock guitar on a regular visit to Mill Farm to see the mighty Coasters and asked this little fella to show him where Danny touched him.

And who can't remember the time that Daft Danny Rowe after watching a marathon retrospective of Charlie Chaplin films decided to get a moustache like his cinematic hero and then through a convoluted series of pratfalls somehow managed to find himself as the local recipient of being the Conservative party nominee for the borough of Fylde? The fallout was of course obvious in hindsight....

Ebbsfleet Town vs AFC Fylde
13th November 2027

=Ebbsfleet result.webp

Ebbsfleet have established themselves as a promotion contender from League Two in recent seasons after their promotion from the National League in 2021. Fylde hope to go one better and secure promotion in their first season in League Two but it's still a question Duncan Ferguson won't get drawn into and says his main focus is survival. It was a familiar line-up for Fylde as they aimed to extend their lead at the top of the table. Ebbsfleet caused Fylde to wake up when they rattled the cross bar and Morgan Feeney hoofed the ball to safety. Fylde were struggling to get beyond the Ebbsfleet defence and the aerial balls into the box were easy for the defence. It looked like the game had a draw written all over it as the second half ticked by with very little to shout about. Ferguson gave Paul Townsend a chance with twenty minutes to go. It was a poor game for all to see and both teams trudged off the field with a point.
It's Fylde's fourth consecutive draw in the league and although they remain undefeated, they need to be winning games before the teams below catch up.

AFC Fylde vs Northampton Town
20th November 2027

=Northampton result.webp

A much better performance was to be expected from the Fylde fans and Ferguson stated in his programme notes it was important to get wins on the board before the busy christmas schedule begins. Tyler Garrett will miss the next two months with a knee injury and Chima Okoroji will take the reigns at left back. Nine minutes on the clock when Lloyd launched the ball long for Knibbs to take it round Foster and put Northampton one-nil up at Mill Farm. Foster made little effort to take the ball from the striker.Okoroji got down the left and crossed into the box, the ball fell to Fergsuon but the keeper made a fantastic save to turn his shot behind. The first half was frustrating for Fylde with players arguing and the lack of link up play was evident to see. Mark Quinn made great space for himself to get outside the Fylde box and when he received the pass he done well in putting it into the bottom corner. Fylde having a terrible first half which was extremely frustrating and the decision to play Callum Simpson up top backfired on Ferguson, he was subbed at half-time for Tyrone O'Neill. Three minutes after half-time, Henderson switched the play to Johnson who brought in Morton down the right, the cross came in for O'Neill but he lost the battle for the header, the ball fell to Fergsuon on the edge of the box and what a rocket into the bottom corner! Fylde claw a goal back! Northampton play it around the back line but the ball is intercepted by O'Neill who hits it towards goal from six yards out but the keeper tips it over the bar, what a save! Fyle got the ball forward on 62 minutes, Henderson passed to McGavin, the goal opened up for him but he put the shot wide! Danny Smith was the last throw of the dice for Ferguson with twenty minutes to play. Fylde brought the ball forward again, Smith gave it to McGavin who was instantly under pressure but he found Henderson who had men around him, Henderson jinxed past his marker and launched an audacious lob into the top corner! What an exquisite finish and Fylde bring the game level! Seven minutes to play and Pope played it to Okoroji down the left who crossed to the near post, O'Neill got to the ball with his head but the keeper kept it out. Danny Smith crossed from the resulting corner but McGavin headed wide. Fylde with time to turn this around and get the three points. The board went up with an additional three minutes added on. Smith looked up half way inside the Northampton half, crossed early for the arrival of Henderson, he made it 3-2! What a comeback and there is pandemonium in the stands! Euan Henderson with his 100th Fylde goal! With seconds remaining McGavin launches the ball towards the corner flag and it rolls out for a goal kick, surely this must be it. The goal kick is taken and there goes the whistle! A remarkable afternoon for The Coasters!

DF: The first half was awful to watch, we made a lot of mistakes, gave the ball away cheaply, almost cost ourselves the game. The lads sat down at half-time and I could see there was players who were struggling so I had to change it. Confidence seemed low, frustration was high. We aired our differences inside those four walls and I think we came out stronger because of it. Within three minutes of the second half we got a goal and myself and Nick (Haycock) knew we were going to make it an uncomfortable second half for Northampton.
