Flairs at the game

possibly the worst argument imaginable, wanting us to be more like that set of belters

Indeed and i bet you anyone was to put a list of the teams together and what country they are from of who uses flares in games you will find they are belters also or at very least have fan issues

Most of the teams that use them have hardcore fans who have their own section so as not to p*ss of the normal regular fans who just want to enjoy the game.

There's nothing wrong with standing or singing a funny song or even throwing a flare, in moderation

Doing it through the whole match is yobbish and just plain rude at the end of the day

Moderation is the key

And, as someone who had one of those things dropped right at his feet, those things ruin the match for the rest of your fellow fans. My mate still couldn't see properly after the match and his eyes were swollen up from the smoke

If those idiots love it so much, they should set them off where they are, rather than rolling them down amongst their fellow fans who just want the watch the match and have a good time

I'd like to add that soon, I'll be taking my kid to the match and this is not what I'm after. I wonder would the people throwing flares be impressed if it injures their son or daughter? And before anyone says I'm old, I'm early thirties.

Also, I'm seriously considering penalising the next 'no pyro no party' post.

First of all, they were not 'flairs' or 'flares'. They were smoke bombs. Big difference in the health and safety factor between the two.

Very shocked to see that people would 'shop them to the stewards' or be 'made up that if anyone set one off and got caught, they get a ban from a few games'. You call yourself Evertonians? Seriously?..

No wonder Goodison and our away sections are quiet and boring. I bet some of you are too embarrassed and ashamed to stand up and sing.

NO PYROS AT THE GAME PLEASE I DON'T LIKE THEM...

I have never been with anyone who sets them off - I just don't mind them.

On the flip side, my son and daughter (the future of our club,) absolutely love them too.

I am not suggesting for one minute that e blanket the whole of goodison with them but, for instance, scoring a last minute winner against the sh1te would in my opinion be grounds for a few flares. You can stay sat in your seat smiling and clapping.

They'll grow out of it, don't worry.

They are smoke bombs not flares I love them think they are great cant be arsed with the foreign teams flares that cover the whole game and are actually dangerous but come on 1 or 2 smokebombs aint doing no harm
