Brilliant.Reminds me of the good old days on the Glwadys terraces. If you dont like them just carry on sitting in the main stand listening to 5live with your flask, to embarresed to sing nevermind show emotion.BRING BACK TERRACES FOR THE WORKING CLASS.Sick and tired of the shhh and sit down cucumber eating brigade ......WHO ARE WE

This - so many boring fans on here who object to a bit of blue smoke, standing or singing of songs that makes them "cringe"

There's nothing wrong with standing or singing a funny song or even throwing a flare, in moderation

Doing it through the whole match is yobbish and just plain rude at the end of the day

Moderation is the key

And, as someone who had one of those things dropped right at his feet, those things ruin the match for the rest of your fellow fans. My mate still couldn't see properly after the match and his eyes were swollen up from the smoke

If those idiots love it so much, they should set them off where they are, rather than rolling them down amongst their fellow fans who just want the watch the match and have a good time

Are you 114? FFS, football is about atmosphere not sat still with yer mum drinking hot chocolate.

No wonder so many aways come on here mocking our lack of atmosphere.

So.. just because i don't like flairs that means i don't like atmosphere at the match.. right.. I must have been mistaken of your age. Thirteen.

There are so many health risks and also other facts that make flares incredibly stupid. Singing, standing, flags etc are all good ways to make atmosphere. There is literally no need to go around waving smoke around like a pleb is there.

Just because I do like them doesn't mean I am 14. People one here talking about grassing getting physical on people who light them. It astounds me to be honest, from now on I will wit tight and quiet for fear of retribution...

Let me ask you a question then. Around thirty thousand people go the match, a lot of them are older Evertonians who have been supporting Everton since before you or myself where born, through good and bad times. Now a lot of these older fans do have breathing and sight problems. Do you think it is fair to do something that will be detrimental to them watching the actual match just because you and the group you are with think its fun?

I go the match with my grandad, he has breathing problems when in smokey areas, and if someone set that off by him, to put it blunty he'd be ****ed. That is not acceptable at all.

There are many other ways to have fun and create atmosphere at the match, setting flares off is not one of them. It's not fun, it's just dangerous and stupid, and childish.

I have never been with anyone who sets them off - I just don't mind them.

On the flip side, my son and daughter (the future of our club,) absolutely love them too.

I am not suggesting for one minute that e blanket the whole of goodison with them but, for instance, scoring a last minute winner against the sh1te would in my opinion be grounds for a few flares. You can stay sat in your seat smiling and clapping.

There is literally no point trying to reason with you.
