Looking at December, I say Bring it on, if you want to improve you have to compete and beat these teams on a more consistent basis despite the fixture line up.

Otherwise what’s the point? Going into Christmas with a sense of fear, the matches would be already lost. They’ve shown they can do it last season,do it again.

We didn’t really get shafted last season when we won 3 in a row against them easily.

Don’t think we did last season. We had consecutive home games against City, RS, Arsenal, Chelsea, Utd, but with aways in the middle.

I don’t know mate. Arsenal and United are genuinely hopeless and won’t be anywhere near top 4 in my opinion. Chelsea could be in massive trouble if their ban is upheld and they can’t replace Hazard.

It’s going to take a while to get rid of this loser stink in our fanbase though. Jesus, we had people panicking about ASTON VILLA the other week.

There’s something about people flapping over playing Arsenal and Manchester United that really winds me up quite a lot.

We matched Liverpool home and away (only City performed better in both games against them), we spanked Arsenal United and Chelsea at home and played well against all three away. We could have won easily at White Hart Lane.

There’s nothing to fear from these runs but because the season won’t be over by December (hopefully) the players and fans get irrationally nervous. Kopites even with their worst teams would be predicting to sweep the board and that transmits to their players.

If we start well we can go into that run of games well in the top 6 and give each of those teams a proper go. We might not win them but this team is not the team of previous seasons asking for a spanking. This team didn’t get mauled by anyone last season (Spurs aside) and have all the top teams a game and we can do it again as we’ll only be better.

We should look to be in the top 6 come the turn of the season and that’s not even a joke. There’s no reason why we can’t be.
