Generally agree, but with a couple of possible alternatives:
Sandro - he's young, I presume he's on a long contract: loan him out with no option to buy. Maybe he gets back into form. Maybe.
Klaassen - as per Sandro, with the added point that we can't just write off £15m and sell him at a huge loss.
Schneiderlin - again, we can't just write off £10m. Loan him to a French or Spanish club for a £4m or £5m fee, get him back into some semblance of form and THEN sell him.
Added to the above list: McCarthy. take £10m from anyone, or include him as a makeweight in a deal with Celtic for Tierney.

Who should be first out the door ? That is a very difficult question to answer but it almost has to be Fat Sam quickly followed by his cronies and the Walsh, then Kenwright then some players. We need a bigger door !

Keep that group and sack the rest off. Add another set of 8-10 players to round off the squad - promote more of the youth and dip into the transfer market for at least 3-4 quality additions. Oh... and make sure we get a top manager in before all of this happens.

Easier said than done like, but if we ever want to progress as a club then this is the foundation that needs to be laid.

I don't think any club would want to swap for or buy a player that can't play for 1-2 seasons
