stop all this flagellation FFS

Of fcuk it then,
It was circa Sept/ Oct 2004, we were rock bottom of the league. The Silver Fox had replaced Z Cars with 2 Unlimited. I was beginning to accept the awful truth that Daniel Amokachi was shyte and even the RS had me believing it was going to be their year.....

Great times

Being a kid in the 90's, I remember them being ****e but accepting we were crap because I was too young to remember the best days at the club (I was born the year we won the Cup Winners Cup/League double). So it was more a "you support Everton, bottom half's where we're at" attitude. Winning the FA Cup in 95 was unblemished joy!

So in some regards, this is the worst feeling ever, because now we're better than that, or supposed to be, but we're not, and it's the realisation that we could be back there very very soon.

losing the cup final in 1968, realising we weren't invincible

some very low times since then

but this is the worst

What has chico/julio ananas/sniderman done here.

He opens the door, launches a grenade in then fcuks off.

*for the record, ginola, gascoigne, cleland etc., was a low low for me. Utter gash*

The 90s finished my dad off as a supporter, and he used to go home and away for years. I offered to buy him a season ticket a few years back but he politely declined. Hope that doesn't happen to myself.

anyway, this isn't as bad as the 90s. Yet.

My worst memories as a blue,, that fcker Rush...

Not to mention that cross/cum/shot from Norman Whiteside,, i cried like a little boy who lost his mar in a supermarket...

Btw,, did i mention that cnut Rush....Arrrrghh!!!

Wimbledon 2-0 down was horrific, I was there and felt like crying.

haha...i sat in front of the BBC's Scoreboard with a pen and paper working out all the permutations and pretty much calculated that we were ****ed! i'm still amazed we came through that.

gloomiest time in my 23 evertonian years was Walter Smith, tho'...just dire. I also felt really defeatist when it was clear Rooney was leaving.

Best time was very recently, when we followed beating Chelsea by beating Man Utd (Spring 2010). Tho' the Fiorentina (nearly) comeback was also mega. And those 5 or 6 1-0's in a row with Graveson and that in the season we finished 4th was epic. Rooney's first few months were truly special. Before Moyes of course we had the Cup win (Spurs semi!).

**** it, let's have a "favourite Everton era" thread.

I have come to the realization that our club is continually cursed with the worst luck in the game of football..... :(
When oh when is this great clubs fortunes going to turn around FFS!
