DEFO the 70s. Standing by watching the inbred children of satan sweep every major honour while we won feck!! School days where tough back then. I can vividly remember crying all the way home from Maine Rd after the replay defeat, a shattered heart broken 7yr old.

I look down at my right forearm at the tattoo in blue writing "Nil Satis Nisi Optimum" I could cry not that its permanent and We all know our history but as the old saying goes "Evertonians are born not manufactured" etc I honestly feel let down, betrayed, sad, like a close family member is critically ill I wish it was all over, I tried the other week to ignore the game, I tried not to go online and watch an away game but I do and why because I love them. These are bad times, I left my ex wife for Everton because she didnt want me to watch the game, I mean come on we were at home to Middlesborough and I wasnt missing that! What I am trying to say is if Bill Kenwright was a true supporter like he says he is why o why cant he just f off and stop the rot. This is the worst time of all 31 years of age been going since I was 4 surely it cant get any worse than this???

70 s for me in a way cos of them lot over the way, and the worst League Cup final, ever, against Villa, which was the only live game on TV we were in that decade! As a 10 year old, emigrated to bloody Bristol, it was grim. But in a way, now is worse, because back then, clubs could build a team, coach, compete, develop, and actually think they might actually, one day, win something. (younger viewers, google Derby, Forest, Stoke, etc etc). Think that dream has been extinguished now, unless some joker with mega bucks pitches up, which for me, is cocking sad.

boss post been there ,everton or the wife everton allways came 1st , regards getting worse he will take us to the wall graeme

The 90 were really bad i hardly missed a match H/A right though them to. But right now is worse for me as the club is dying infront of my eyes.....

MAKO...........!!!!

This is the worst period I remember, but then my memory only stretches back as far as the Walter Smith era.

But even that tells you a lot.

We've been worse than we are now. Late 90's early 00's were the worst teams I remember. But like mentioned earlier we knew we were crap then. I don't think i've been so despondent supporting Everton than at the moment though. There's a sense of inevitability about what's happening at the club today.

I was born in May '85, so after toddling my way through our title winning season, the only two good times for me have been winning the cup in '95, and a few decent European trips in the mid noughties.

Other than that, supporting Ebepton has been utterly gash.

Who was in charge when we put 9 past Southampton? Cant be arsed to check! That was a good afternoon.
