Fellaini

Come on Bill, play hard ball here. Let's regain some pride against United after the Moyes on a free fiasco.

The United fans are baying for a signature. £25 million minimum. I'm not saying for one second that I think Fellaini is a £30 million but, given that it's an inflated market at the moment, it wouldn't harm us to start out big & negotiate down.

A bit hard when Felli has a buy out clause of 23/24 million in his contract as reported!

seriously if people want Fellaini to go then its their opinion but reacting in this way to another source-less quote from The Mirror feels like the equivalent of saying we are a small time club and need to accept that even a United biased hack has more say in the future of our players than we have. If it happens then have a go at Moyes, the player, the board, whoever feels most appropriate. Forget blaming the clause cos nobody other than a privileged few know what's involved there. Until there is evidence anyone is going then this feels to me like a small time attitude from the fans if we believe every word the Manc press puts out.

Let me get this right, all this massive over-reaction and near crying is based on what the Daily Mirror says?

Seriously is this your first ever transfer window?

exactly. the accuracy of the Mirror, Guardian and Talksport is approximately zero as far as Everton go and their main agenda seems to be to unsettle anyone and everyone they think should be at United. Noticeable they left us alone when they could fill space with Fabregas, Suarez and Bale

Talk about tinfoil hats... their agenda is to get an audience for their stories.

I don't want Fellaini to go because Everton are a small time club who need to sell players to bigger clubs.
I want Fellaini to go because he is a temperamental, unreliable player who often gives up on the pitch when things aren't going his way, and that is worth accepting £20m for me.

25m for Fellaini would be good imo.

But only if Martinez doesn't go and spunk 2/3 of that on McCarthy ffs. I'd be angry as hell if he did that.

Depends when the deadline on that clause is though.

Sounds like there is one but who knows when it runs out. Can't see Moyes not bidding for Felli before it does run out though.

You seriously don't think the clubs use journalists to sound out players or unsettle players. Sorry to say that massive chunk of their stories revolve around the interest of agents and clubs. Is Fellaini to United really a big seller for any paper. Both that transfer and Baines are not worth making up to add to readership. Most of the nationals revolve around their sponsors and business interest and keeping them happy. People who shout conspiracy to dispute circumstantial evidence are the most easy to convince. There are officials being bribed all over the world is it really crazy to suggest a bit of collusion between papers that have proven bias.

They are interested in revenue. They want to sell adverts and sell papers. That's their agenda.
