Fellaini wants to leave Everton?

Still angry the way this was brushed under the carpet to be honest.

Was it brushed under the carpet or just being realistic knowing he is probably going to move to a CL club? As long as we are compensated to a worthy amount not much we can do about it really.

I don't understand why people say they'd be happy to accept £30m for him.

In the current climate with players like Henderson, Fletcher, Carroll and such, going for £20m+, Fellaini has got to be at least £40m.

He's young, he's versatile and can compete with the very best.

Anything below £30m would be outrageous!

And yes, I know Fletcher went for around £12m but you catch my drift

Why realistic? We are building a team around him? Have sold players to ensure his contract was met, and bought players to supplement his style and players from his homeland as well.

I agree totally we expect to lose him - why? Cause of the certain lack of confidence in Everton to keep players of this calibre, not because the team isn't good enough.

It's GETTING there, and he should be pivotal to that.

Not that he isnt good enough, but i find it hard to see him in a Chelsea, City, Utd or Arsenal team.

Manchester UTD have been screaming out for his talents. He would cover the back an provide excellent mobility to Kagawa, Rooney & Van Persie.

Arsenal have moved on from Cesc, city have Toure.

Aside from the abysmal showing on Sunday vs QPR, we may be a C.L team come the end of the season..no need for him to leave (y)

exactly my feelings as well, we got a shocking deal for rooney IMO. but an awesome one for lescott, but fellaini is definitely more than twice the player he was when we bought him for 15 mill. There aren't too many better centre mids in football atm, and this is without my blue tinted glasses on

Thing is mate. Nobody would pay over £30m I don't think.

So highly doubt we'd get any more than that.

And if a huge club comes in and unsettles him that's around the fee we'd get. Probably less.

We would be lucky to get anymore than 25m for him.

The fact is, we "overpaid" when we bought him for 15m, im not saying that cos hes rubbish, we paid for potential and hes defo fulfilled that potential and then some, but the likes of Downing, Henderson, Carroll are English, so thats why their prices were so high, they clearly overpaid for utter tosh.

yeah i know. ah well, witsel went for 32 mill a few weeks back so we can all hope, would rather him play his whole career here like, he's my idol atm

The other clubs know Everton's financial situation and they know that we would accept around 20m because the club has no other option.
