Fellaini wants to leave Everton?

He's off, there is no other way to take those quotes. I just hope it doesn't affect his performances in the meantime.

Take the £20-25m whenever it comes and so be it.

Tara Felli.

He has 4 years left on contract and is one of our crucial players so I think Bill could ask for a ridiculous offer

Rodwell and Arteta were also both on long contracts. How many ridiculous deals have there been anywhere recently? Only three players have gone to Premier League clubs for more than £20m this summer (Hazard, Van Persie and Oscar). It's a buyers market these days.

I'm not taking these comments as gospel. Wouldn't surprise me if a kopite or a manc is behind them all.

It has worked like this for a long time. The media prints a story and it unsettles everyone (the player, the club, the fans) so much so that the player inevitably ends up leaving.

They tried to do it with Baines, they really fucking tried, but they failed miserably because Baines isn't your normal type of footballer.

Wouldnt sell him to a premier league club though if he is to leave. Get him abroad, dont want to see him wearing another PL teams shirt. Kills me seeing Arteta in an Arsenal top ffs.

It just really doesn't make sense, why would he say it now? just after the transfer window closed, we have started the season well, he encouraged mirallas to join, i just don't know why he would say it at this point.

International match.

He is surrounded by his mates who by now all play for pretty much the top teams in world football. They probably just laugh at him because he plays for Everton. And is on a third of their wages.

Every single one of our players who makes it as an international gets his head turned.

3 points against Newcastle and all will be well though. Just like eating a cookie in the Matrix.

Amazing how things went so bad so quickly after our 6 point start though.

Nothing like being brought back to earth. The joy of being an Evertonian.

No were near as good as Felli though mate, Arteta maybe was but he's was getting on abit

He'll go at some point and if it is next summer then so be it. I like him but he is replaceable. I wouldnt mind him going abroad and to someone like PSG who have money to burn and would pay handsomely for him i reckon as Ancelotti was a big fan of Felli in his Chelsea days.

If we could get £25m onwards for him, that would give us money to replace him (Odjidja-Ofoe - £5-6m) and then money left over to buy a number 10 of decent quality to play in behind Jelavic and give us money left over possibly to sign a striker to challenge Jelavic and a RB.

That good start seem ages ago now.

The market has moved on from when we could demand £24m for Lescott. Even clubs like City and Chelsea don't throw money around like they used to. If Felli wants to leave it weakens our bargaining position. Who was the last player that we got top price for? We virtually gave Yobo, Cahill and Yakubu away. It won't be easy getting Martinez style money for him unless a couple of the big clubs are really keen.

25m or no sale.

Seeing as we paid 15m for him, and he has improved considerably, we have to be demanding at least 25m.

If we sold him for 20m knowing that the RS paid that for Henderson, I'd cry my eyes out.
