Until

a) A source other than the original one backs up the story
or
b) The player himself clarifies the statements

It's all about as worthwhile as the 'Baines to United for £5m' the Daily Mail ran a couple of months ago. That story got picked up by BBC Sport ffs.

They have quotes.

If he didnt say it, I fully expect legal action.

ye but sometimes you need to use your head, did you beleive ronaldo when he signed his neew contract with united that he wouldnt be joining madrid the following season.
not the first time fellaini has mentioned leaving for CL football
its possible

Quotes are quotes.

I'm ignoring all the spin around it but those quotes are pretty damning. If he didn't say them, or if he perhaps answered a loaded question and some context has been altered -- perhaps also some mistranslation... Jesus, look at that. That's some top notch denial right there.

But that's not what is being discussed.

When did Ronaldo say 'I'm off next season lads' ?

At the end of the day this was always going to happen at some point. From fellaini's point of view the end of this season would be a perfect time for him to move on unless something amazing happened this year ie CL qual.

Yes he would be a loss but I honestly think we could be stronger with the cash for moyes to bring in more quality. EFC will survive, we always do and tbf there were 5 other teams that were better than us last season without Fellaini in there team as well as many others accross Europe.

I think it's clear we're working on a player trading model these days!

Precisely.

Just look at the buzz this story is getting, the owners of that paper will be loving it. There's plenty of ways to misinterpret responses to questions, it's what interviewers do.

its time to face reality , until the board have the balls to live up to our biggest stars ambition or there is a takeover our best players will always move on . Jelavic will be next if he has a great season . we are the English version of Udinese , bringing up and signing unknowns and players on the cheap and turning them into stars and than selling them on to top clubs and spending a fraction of the sum recieved to find replacements.

THIS IS MY LAST SEASON I WILL LOOK AT MOVING IN JAN OR THE SUMMER

YER LOST IN TRANSLATION LADS HE SPEAKS WITH A DICK IN HIS MOUTH
