Wonder how much extra the price was raised after drawing Liege in the UEFA cup. I'm sure it must have been pretty significant.

In the end if it wasn't for Fellaini we would have had no extra signings (and a wad of cash in jan) but still..
With all the important goals he's gotten us I'm glad we bought Fellaini. This isn't even mentioning his future potential.
He's gonna be boss for sure.

The best in Europe? a bit unrealistic perhaps.. but I hope not :)

Fellaini will come good for us, no doubt what so ever in my mind about that one. Luckily enough, we have a manager at Everton, who knows he has to be patient with him. Do agree however, that (at the moment) he probably isn't worth the £15 million we payed for him. Best player in the world is taking it a bit far though.

Well that's lucky because we never paid 15m for him.

He will be great. Think of a young foal finding it's legs. Thats what you have with him. He is a work in process and bagging some important goals for us already. Are we already forgeting our come back against United which has propelled us on to this sixth place. Don't discount this boy yet. Think back gentlemen before he was hurt and had to soldier on not 100% because of our squad numbers.

when we signed the lad we all knew feck all about him and thought he was the next maradona 'cos of the price. the playmaking and dominating didnt happen so he was classed as not worth the outlay.

i remember moyes saying something about him not being what we were all expecting and now pat it seems has seen what it is (loved pat nevin btw, the sort of player that could make a stadium buzz when he was on the ball, the turkish slipper as greavsie put it, over jim leighton was pure class......link anyone ? ). what i recall moyes saying is that he is a disruptor, always in the oppositions way breaking down their play, a nuisance and a thorn in their side, as he's got used to the pace of the prem just observe how many different areas he pops up in, just his presence disrupts the play as they know he can stick a foot out and get the ball or get close in around their feet as well. he can cover a lot of ground but it kind of goes unnoticed as he appears to stroll around at a snails pace, he has also played out of position quite a bit as well due to injuries.

i think the lad's got potential, but a the moment his best position seems to be the one occupied by cahill & if everyone's fit i'm not sure they can both be accommodated. mind you that'd be a nice problem to have : everybody fit!

Dunno how you stretch that article to him saying he's potentially the best player in the world. He says he could become one of the best in Europe, ONE of the best, and not in the world. He says he's world class in the air, fair enough.

But then he goes on to say that if he learns to ghost like Cahill he'll score 30+ goals a season.

*cough*...

A professional journalist managed it too, see the title on the official site? "Fellaini Is Best In World"

A professional footballer scores an own goal. That means it's not an error?

Also, to call the guys who write on the Everton website professional journos is stretching it, didn't they just say we hadn't been to Wembley since the FA Cup final?
