Fellaini 'happy' to stay til 2016.

Problem is I'm afraid, that we're in no position to let him 'see out his contract' without any chance of him committing to a new deal. He knows that and Everton know that, so why should he say anything else? Can't see any other outcome than him leaving Everton during this summer at the latest.

Got to agree with the basic principle of this mate. Football and the perceptions of fans is really telling though isn't it ? I'm not saying he's lying at all but it is incredibly easy to say , when our dear leader makes a comment he's dismissed as a over dramatic bull*tter (which I think he is) but a comment like this is embraced.

Felliani in my opinion knows he's not for sale this window and knows that almost certainly as a club we'll have to look at selling him long term so why not make the comment. The basic & overriding principle in my opinion when considering the comments, interviews or press-releases of footballers , chairmen, chief exec's manager & agents is that they all lie their arses off. It's sad but true.

I really don't think we'll sell felliani this window & it's still a real chance for us to perform until the end of the season, I think felliani will be here so I'm hoping to enjoy it. What happens next , who knows ?

But

But

But this is all about him not wanting to go.

TBH i think only CH LGE footie will make him stay .....the funny side to this( as in current attitudes with footballers / agents) is IMHO this season has been the only season in his EFC career that his form has been justified of both his price tag and his desire to play at the top

Spot on comments from Sheeds.

The way (both times) fellianis comments about leaving got buried by the club made me feel very uneasy.

He goes he goes. In all honesty that 30 million will come to good use. We play better football without the big man.

I see your point but all in all its subjective. With Fellaini we tend to lump hoofballs and pray, as opposed to letting our playmakers work their magic.

I think we play good football (sometimes) with and without him. Against Wigan we were essentially turd (but won) and Chelsea we were pretty good (but lost).
