Favourite player of Moyes' time at Everton.

Carsley was the cog that made the side tick, but Cahill was the guy who made you fall in love with Everton all over again.

Leighton Baines - for his football ability, dedication, work ethic and general all around niceness.

I would have voted Cahill but his amazing years I wasn't around for, so, Baines.

Cahill, always gave 110%, always spoke so proudly of playing for Everton, showed ultimate respect to the fans and scored some terrific and important goals, the opposition hated playing against him and the way he would smash someone in the face and then give a cheeky little grin as if to say "what did I do?". It was the right time for him to move on but I will miss him.

When I saw the thread, I thought Arteta. Then I saw the poll options and my only choice is Nigel Martyn. Top keeper. Shame we only got him at the end of his career, but he was still outstanding up until the day he called it quits.

Voted for Arteta.

When he was on form he was simply the best we've had for some time, shame his last full season with us was f*cking shocking.

Pienaar would have probably gotten it if it weren't for his little soiree down the M6 toll, but hey-ho.

I've never really had an affinity with Cahill, not too sure about the Nigel Martyn love-in either, the seasons that bookended that season both he and we were pretty woeful.

Fellaini i'm starting to adore, Osman should be in with a shout as he's the ultimate underdog (since it's taken about 6 years for us all to realise that he's a belting little player).

Baines is too quiet/nice for me to have any personal liking to, loved Carsley but he won't be anywhere near the top.

Big Dunc is my all time footballing hero but he's too pre-Moyes for me to really vote for him.

A 2006-2008 Mikel on the right side of midfield wins it for me.

Nice work mate you really are doing some good posts lately. It's a fair summary. Someone should give Cahill a bell and show him this when the poll comes to an end. He's been a great lad for us.

In terms of enjoying watching a player play it has to be arteta. I was always proud to have him in the team. i love cahill but over the last few seasons i've felt like we played better without him.

For me, as good as Arteta was when he was in form he spent too long out of form, far too inconsistent for my liking.
