Why did it take until this point in the thread for someone other than me to suggest him? Gravesen was an incredible buy.

To be fair to Gravesen, he left us for arguably the best team in the world at the time after years of consistent performances.

Tommy was a great character for us, but it was only at the tail end of his Everton career he started to play with any great consistency and confidence.

In my opinion he had just started to play extremely well for us and Real Madrid snapped him up. Can't blame him for going and wished him well at the time. Much loved player.
