Guns Of Navarone is a such a better film in every way.. WED is almost comical by comparison imo.
Yes a great film TGON same author Alister MaClean seen them both at the pictures, Great War movies always about espionage you have a point, but for sentimental reasons WED created a great actor in Clint into the limelight to go on into greater films etc;)

There are a few interesting additions. One in particular stood out. Get back when you've watched it to see if you noticed ;)

Finally got round to watching it. A couple of good additions but, a couple not so good.
You mean the spiderwoman scene? If so there's a few variations...one with it deleted, one with the quick version (in this version) and another where she crawls down the stairs and chases the mum around the room, with a serpents tongue flicking in and out (funny).

Shawshank redemption, Chinatown, Blade Runner, Once upon a time in America and True Romance.
Top 5.

Special mentions to

Alien, The Thing, The Thing from another world, Night of the Demon and This Island Earth, great Sci-Fi.

There was a scene when the mopther enters the house and the lights are flashing off and on and the face of the demon lights up on the cooker extractor. Either that is a deleted scene put back in or I hadn't noticed it before and I've watched it about 30 times :)

Are you asking?
