Favourite Everton Players - Past & Present

My dad told me all about Ball. Would loved to have seen him play. Surprised at the lack of mentions for players in our mid eighties teams. That was the most successful period in Everton's history. We even managed a European trophy!

Love to have seen - I cant decide between Dean and Ball, you hear so many great things from people who had the pleasure of seeing Ball play, and i'd just love to have seen Dean in his prime, who wouldn't.

Seen - Arteta, at his best the player i'v enjoyed watching the most, Kanchelskis pushes him close, and perhaps the fact Mikel was with us that bit longer pips it for him.

Current - Baines, please don't go Leighton, we all love youz.

Player would've liked to have seen - Dean/Ball or Southall in his prime (84-89)
Player have seen - Kanchelskis and Limpar. Honourable mention to Cahill
Current player - Mirallas

Never Seen: Dixie (My Grandma told me quite some stories about him)
Seen: Big Nev - Rooney - Kanchelskis. (All world class)
Current: Fellaini

Never seen - Dean. ( and I can quote my Grandads words about him now.. )
Seen - Neville.. Total no brainer for me.
Current - Jags.. Timing of a tackle.

Never seen - Ball... cheating a bit as I saw him at Goodison in some kind of legends team. I thought till then he was just an energy player and by this time he could hardly move, but his touch and range of passing were spiritual. My dad told me to imagine that with someone who never stopped running for 90 mins.

seen - Bracewell. touch and go with him and Sheedy but Bracewell had everything, and even though I think he was the best midfielder in the country before the injury it still felt like he was going to get better. just needed a touch of arrogance

Fellaini - him and Baines equally really but everyone else is saying Baines so Fellaini edges it
