...defeatist before the game, defeatist after the game. The way he’s lauding the Reds, I suppose we can expect more of the same next week.

Yeah we’ll give them their easiest game of the season. I’m not sure why the Everton board keep hiring managers who are completely in thrall to the the top 6 teams.

...Allardyce has lost me with his lack of competitiveness against top teams. It’s simply wrong not being competitive and setting his team out as he did yesterday and Arsenal away. It’s bordering on being against the spirit of the league.

Makes you wonder what his pre match instructions are :

" We`re gonna lose, but try and keep the score line respectable ".

Fortunately for us Citteh agreed with him.

Heaven knows what the score would`ve been, if they didn`t have that Champs League game on Weds.

Yeah the league is getting back to the bad old days of 04-09 when the top 4 were so entrenched that the managers of all the other teams just started a narrative of excuses as to why none of them could try to win. It’s becoming the same now v the top 6, a lot of managers are just seeing it as a rest game and not even trying to win including shamefully our manager who is possibly the worst exponent of it.

..it’s really turned me against Allardyce. He’s come in and achieved 40 points but there was an opportunity for him to do something progressive rather than just be in survival mode. I honestly can’t remember one big tackle put on a City midfielder.

I honestly think he wants to be let go in the summer, receive a huge pay off, have 4 months on the beach in Dubai knowing that come November there’ll be a team at the bottom wanting a rescue job again. Actually trying to meet fan expectations here is too big a job for him and I think he’s realised that. He probably thought he’s cone in and get a few seasons of him and his mates being revered for getting us into the top half. The backlash has probably been beyond his expectation and now I think he’s looking to be paid off.

And the whole ethos of sport in general. Bringing up a 6 year boy as an Evertonian, shame on me. Gonna steer him into tennis or something.

I literally thought they were going to be callous and ruthless and gut us open for all to see. Thankfully they all had a couple of Easter eggs at half time washed down with a coco and stepped right off it, could have been 6 or 7 without repost.

Bristol City, a championship club, showed exactly how to be competative against City, by being well organised but brave on the front foot. Our 'surrender' approach to all the top clubs has been nothing short of pathetic and gutless.

...nah, managers come and go and players come and go. Everton will always be here to ensure he’ll be brought up rounded and reasoned.

“I told the lads not to bother trying as we are going to loose anyway - told Morgan not to put in any tackles in case he hurt himself and the lad did well and followed my instructions. Told dominic and Theo not to bother chasing back at all and just to stay up with Cenk - no point trying to get close to Silva and de Bruyne as there just to good so it’s best to leave them Alone. We have the derby next week and we are going to loose as well so the lads can take it easy this week in training. Very happy overall as the lads followed my stupid game plan and instructions very well . Looking forward to the home game against Southampton as we might actually get something out of that as they are really struggling at the moment”. WHAT A MANAGER !
