Binned the clown
Made massive progress with a new ground
Realigned our finances
Exploring new revenue streams i.e. USM FF
Tarted up GP so it doesn't look dated from the outside
Gave us some pride and optimism for the future

Top marks the Mosh
So what are ya saying........?

The atmosphere around Goodison has changed completely thanks to him. He seems to be organised, ruthless when needed and knows exactly where he wants the club to be.

A few things i'm worried about (which is why i've only voted for good progress made):
- He hasn't really invested much into the club, He's given us a loan which needs to pay back, used the Stones money to buy players and the stadium is completely in the clubs hands not his. Whilst some of these are positives as he is setting us up long term - very smartly too, we are yet to see a War-chest of intent from him.
- As he is silent, he is never setting himself up to fail. He's not saying he is going to do xxx, xxx and xxx. He's letting other people do it for him, so there's no backlash. Its a good tactic - but also can mean he won't be criticised when he perhaps needs to be.

Very happy with him so far, and if there was an option between the top 2 I would probably have gone with that. To now face the serious prospect of moving to the Docks is something that just hasn't been realistic during the last 20 years or so. He's gone and got a world renowned name as manager and someone who is a born winner in Football.

My reservations are with the spending because whilst I am fairly happy that we will hopefully get back in to the top 7 this season, I feel that we could have got in the top 5 with a better summer. Obviously we weren't going to attract truly top names having finished 11th, but the Sissoko saga on the final day was an embarrassment and we needed to strengthen better in some areas.

My only other question of his ambition (assuming other factors haven't prevented it), is only going for a 50,000 seater if that turns out to be true. 54,000-55,000 is the lowest we should be going for and I was very much hoping for expansion options. 55,000 with the view to expand later to 60,000-65,000 would be ideal for our club. 50,000 puts us in the same bracket as Sunderland and Newcastle, and to have a new Stadium below Newcastle's capacity would make us look small time in my opinion.

Overall though, it's been a really positive year.
