Fake crowd sound effects...

Using sound engineers to use crowd sound from the home clubs previous game's, chants etc etc... Just watching Dortmund now...

it's a MILLION TIMES better!!

Oh my god. It's like real football again!

I seriously hope the premier League do the same!!
For 'fake crowd' see RS and ManU

This is like when you set your clocks and watches ten minutes fast so that you won’t be late to work. Eventually you remember they were set ten minutes fast and the trick fails.

I didn’t see that Dortmund game but it seems like that would be mad distracting knowing it’s not a part of the game.

I saw a clip of a game, not sure if it was in Germany but it didn't sound too unrealistic.

Cheers when a goal went in, "oohs" with a near miss.

I did read that the players don't hear it, which does make sense and that some providers will have the option to switch it off if you want.

I thought it was atrocious tonight.

The German and Spanish football wasn’t too bad but I was expecting the PL to learn from what’s happened everywhere else in Europe and get it right.

A bit like coronavirus itself, the British never learnt a thing and we we’re actually worst than the other guinea pigs who went ahead of us.

The PL sound effects were shocking. Nothing whatsoever was really relevant to what was happening in the pitch and when they did change the tone, it was delayed and completely out of sync with what was happening on the pitch.

A bit like Liverpool’s title challenge, the whole spectacle has fell off a cliff and it’s just become a farce to ensure everyone picks up a wage. Nothing else really matters to anyone.

Tbh they can do whatever they want, how they want, when they want.

It's as fake as a fake thing in Fake Street in Fake town.
I won't be watching a minute of it, so I'm not the slightest bit arsed how they dress the pretend footy up.

I'll start to care again when the real footy returns
Will you not watch Sunday, I think it's an abomination but have still watched about five games since its return, so I'd say I'll definitely be watching Everton remind me of how gash we are at the togger and even though we're not allowed in blaming the fans.

At least they can't win it now Sunday, might have skipped it if that was possible.

Thought it would have been better myself, it was drab, bit strange to see the Italian cup final had no sound effects and that took away from the viewing aspect too.

Watched two la liga games and the sound effects worked well I thought.

Sound effects, are we talking football. Miss being able go the game.

Nope. Won't be watching any games until we, the fans, can go again.
What is currently being served up isnt the football I've known and loved for near 50yrs. It's a piss poor imitation contrived to kowtow to the money men and the media.

Meh

Ah I completely understand, only a few days ago I was saying I wouldn't watch any of it, I'll probably watch Sunday evening anyway.

Here come the pain, can't see this half arsed version of footie being any kinder to us than the original version was.

Synthesised crowd noise - if ever you doubted you were being fed a product for the armchair buyer then there it is.

I didn't watch, obviously, but tell me- did the synthetic crowd cheer while Sheffield United's goal wasn't given - despite goal line technology and VAR being part of the game?

It's as fake as a fake thing in Fake Street in Fake town.

It highlights that football is no longer viable TV format without the live crowd. Good to know going forwards...
