I’m not convinced. It’s just sound. The reason why crowds making sound works is because it’s reactive. Players running upfield to goal, crowd noise rises, players get a boost.

Just playing a constant drone will be pointless. Might as well play the ‘NOW Vuvuzela’ out of the speakers. Would rather hear the players and at least get an insight into how they’re thinking and how they play the game. (Not that I’ll watch these games mind)

Who dictates the noise anyway if tv is in charge of it - guaranteed they'll make it sound like we're playing at the pit...
