With Schneids next in line it’s imperative that he stays fit..

Maybe we should get him a bubble. I mean Cech’s allowed to wear a helmet? Seems only fair :p

Maybe a full body one though.. >_<

I’d have him as captain when seamus isn’t in the team.

Offers more leadership than Iceland

Hi mate.

I'm going to say it. I really do think we need to replace Seamus in the starting eleven.
He has been FANTASTIC for us, but not half the player he was before the injury.
Replacing him will not happen this season and so we will plod on with what we have.

I would promote Delph to the captains role. Next season.
When we have moved the squad quality on another notch.

Feel like he's going to be one of them really overrated underrated players. I know it sounds stupid but it happens a lot, when people constantly talk about how underrated someone is, to the extent that they're absolutely not underrated anymore at all, and become overrated. I think he's a good player, I said when we were first linked that he'd be a good signing when loads of people were saying he was rubbish, but it's mad how some people have talked about him after the last 2 games as if he's been like Xavi.

City fan here and you are right...Delph is a very good player. He played very well for us even though he was played at left back for most of the season. His opportunities in midfield were limited but he fitted in very well with the other City players when he played there. My one concern is his injury record as he had a lot of problems during his time over here..if he stays fit he will be a great asset for Everton. Best of luck for the season and maybe top six is possible as some of the other contenders are bang average this year.

I'm a fan and pleased to see him in the team.

Think people have gone a little overboard on him though. He's been decent but has given the ball away cheaply a few times too.
