The thing I liked about him was he was constantly talking to colleagues. Hopefully his experience will be valuable.
He did pass the ball backwards a lot but I guess that’s the modern game of trying to keep possession so fair enough.
Fantastic comments from him tonight on mentality.
The first line is absolutely bang on and to already notice it while barely being at the club speaks volumes."I feel like when we go ahead, we almost take our foot off the gas a little bit," the midfielder admitted.
"When you go a goal behind it's almost as if the pressure drops off you and you feel like you can play more. So I think once we go ahead we need to be even more switched on because the other team is definitely going to push for a goal, and that's when we need leaders.
Hi mate.
I'm going to say it. I really do think we need to replace Seamus in the starting eleven.
He has been FANTASTIC for us, but not half the player he was before the injury.
Replacing him will not happen this season and so we will plod on with what we have.
I would promote Delph to the captains role. Next season.
When we have moved the squad quality on another notch.
Jury still out for me!
Still got a lot of humility to display now that the club he described as little, are paying his wages.
bet it was when he was at Villa or LeedsHe's said we're little?

bet it was when he was at Villa or Leeds![]()
Someone posted an article about it in the summer iirc, I'm positive he said it when he was at Leeds or Villa though so I wouldn't even care about a comment like that.I don't remember it to be honest
Not saying it didn't happen like, but I honestly have zero recollection of it ever happening
