Do any blues believe this nonsense about the FA Cup losing it's glamour? Bobby seems to be prioritising it as he should, I think the team against Palace showed that and I expect to see Mirallas and Barkley start. Got a very very good feeling about the cup this year, over the week end are the following matches:

Manchester City v Chelsea
Sheffield United v Nottingham Forest
Arsenal v Liverpool
Brighton & Hove Albion v Hull City
Cardiff City v Wigan Athletic
Sheffield Wednesday v Charlton Athletic
Sunderland v Southampton
Everton v Swansea City.

IF we beat Swansea (we will), we have a 5/7 chance of avoiding the obvious, which would make the run to Wembley pretty simple wouldn't it? It obviously doesn't work like that but I certainly wouldn't be fearful of a 5:30pm kick off at goodison in the quarter final against anyone. I'd take 7th and an FA Cup any day of the week, there's nothing like seeing your team win an FA Cup at Wembley, they're priceless. Bobby's got the know how, I think we'll win it and so does he, that's good enough for me.

I don't think it is "nonsense" to suggest the Cup has lost a lot of its glamour.

The reasons for this have been well rehearsed here over the years so I won't list any of them.

But I am all in favour of El Bob giving it the best shot we can.

It may have lost some of its glamour all right, but it still retains enough of it to get me very excited about our prospects this year.

It only loses its luster if the "sky 4" isn't involved.

However the semi's at Wembley are a disaster and cheapens it.

Yep especially when you have the Emirates not far away, and also the Olympic stadium. Either of these should be used and save Wembley for the big one

I would only concentrate on Swansea mate, let the next round take care of it self, remember Wigan at home then Milwall in the semi that would have been an easy route. Enough said

Think we will easily get through this round and I'm hoping Liverpool do as well because I want us to exact our revenge on them this season!

Personally I think there is no chance Bobby was prioritising the Cup when choosing the Palace lineup. It was influenced by injuries and maybe the conditions and thats all.

Wont be an easy game vs Swansea so cant even think yet of the rest of the comp, but we could do without a replay what with having a rescheduled game already in the mix.

As nice as that thought might be I want arsenal to knock them out and us to have to go nowhere near them until next season. I don't think there all that and a certainly due a wobble but even if we caught them at there worst they'd still somehow beat us. Had enough of that recently!!

Would like arsenal in the final, that could be quite some game!

Sheffield W would be nice, want to go there and bring the cup back tbh, the odds would be more in our favour.
