You'll only be in a position in life to achieve success when you are also risking defeat mate.

"To experience the exhilaration of victory you need to risk the pain of losing"

I'll take numerous of those "bottle moments' as you call them every season in a heartbeat...

I would just rather us be the underdog.

When we have expectation, we crumble.

Really want United to beat Liverpool in the Europa then us to get them in the semi final. They'll be fighting on three fronts still (4th not out of the question in the league) and FA Cup will be their lowest priority, plus they'll likely have played a few days earlier whereas we'll be fresh. That really would make the most sense!

However, we could and should beat any team we are paired with. My dream would be United semi, Watford final.

i also reckon we'll be the Saturday game. As I reckon they'll have us playing on the Tuesday after, to avoid any further pile up!

Amazing to think if West Ham beat United in the replay then.....

The FA Cup is between Everton, West Ham, Palace and Watford....
and the top 2 in the Premier league title race are Leicester and Spurs...

The media are hating it, but this is becoming one of the best seasons ever, and a season the sport badly needed....

Why are the media hating it?

It's not good for advertising income if the game is being watched by less punters. That's why the press/media comment more on the latest RS/manc/chelsea/arsenal crisis than on so called lesser club's who are doing well eg leicester.

Basically yes.

For the media football is no different to soaps, news or films. It is about bums on seats and ad revenue. They want Man U and if they can't have them then Arsenal, RS or Chelsea all the time. We are just about tolerable as are the Hammers. Watford V Palace would be hell for them.

Its not just football. They want England going for a Grand Slam in rugby Union. They want Wigan V Leeds in rugby League. etc. They want box office.

Palace have been the worst of the teams left in it, but it's not the opposition that worries me here it's us. We need to go out there and show why this team is the best in years once and for all, it's about time we done something to salvage this season after what has been a dire league campaign. Go out there and show the mentality shift in the club and show that this sleeping giant has woken up.

Yet the year before featured Barnsley, WBA and Cardiff (all championship teams) and Pompey ffs. The year after us, had Birmingham, Fulham, Reading, Stoke and Financially stricken Pompey in the last 8. Maybe.... just maybe, luck is on our side now.

We could have played Millwall in the Semi and a Citeh side in disarray had we not totally collapsed against Wigan at home. Every potential tie left is a tough one, hence why I thought Chelsea would be a good draw for us. We tend to do better when teams attack us and don't just sit.
