It's still the biggest stadium in the country

it is at the moment, but there was a greater capacity in the old stadium prior to becoming all-seater. i find it rather curious that so much money should be spent to construct a stadium that doesn't even match this previous capacity, let alone add to it.

Anyone who doesnt get a ticket should come down anyway and smash your way in . It is an absolute disgrace that Everton & Chelsea supporters are yet the latest set of genuine supporters to be s**t on by the F.A . If it wasnt bad enough that we were forced to journey to London on a sunday for a 4.00pm kick off then this is the final straw . New Wembley same old s**t . The middle tier last week was half full . It made my blood boil that three of the 8 lads I went down with last week who didnt have a ticket and couldnt get one outside could have have easily obtained one had they gone to the right people .

I reckon the atmosphere will not be as good as the semi and that is a real shame . If I didnt love Everton as much as I do I would shove two fingers at the F.A for the Final and watch it on T.V .

Yes I do that for the away games, I simply cant afford them.

But I went to Wembley, I couldnt afford it, but I went, I went to all the Home games. And ive renewed my season ticket. I will probably get a final ticket. Its not me I care about, its the other fans of my club who will miss out on a wonderful day out, simply because some fat fa blerts cousins wifes uncle gets a ticket instead.

Good post, mate. In total agreement with you. Half the attendance will be made up of real supporters. That's a disgrace.

I wouldnt mind [as much] if they were actual supporters, but they're not, they're the type of supporters who come in 30 minutes into the second half because they were having something to eat. (n)(n)(n)

I honestly hope that the "neutral" section is full of Chelsea Headhunters and the County Road Cutters and they beat the **** out of each for 90minutes, throw a few seats and wreck the stadium. That will teach the idiots.

I've heard its around the 20,000 mark. 23,000?

All in all if you aint got one....chances of getting a cup final ticket without remortgaing your house for a tout ticket in the Chelski end are going to be as good as getting Angelina Jolie to give you a naked hot body massage before cooking you a roast dinner and doing the dishes after....ie NOT GOING TO HAPPEN!

she'll have soft hands with all that massage oil and fairy. her jugs covered in either would be sensational.

Can someone please pass me a stanleyknive, as I most probably will be in that "neutral" section. Not strictly neutral of course.:P

Back on topic, do agree it's a shambles the way the real club supporters are treated by the FA. Sadly it's all about money nowadays.(n)

Having been lucky enough to get tickets for all the 80s games, and always in the VIP area, I often wondered why the likes of Bill Beaumont, Karen Barber and Nicky Slater (skaters) and the like were there. It's not as if they're part of the FA 'family' is it?

Thats everybody . Fans , Staff , Players , Ex Players , Corporate . The whole 9 yards , as they say .
Lets wait an see first . Dom1878 is being pessimistic , ( I can relate to that like ) . He may well get one . Wait and see .
Also , enter every , win a wembley ticket , comp .

I was talking to one of the stewards at the Wigan game and she'd just been told, that day, that she and some other stewards would be going to the semi final. No mention of 'getting' a ticket though. Is it too much to hope that the club would buy up some of the boxes for the ex players and VIP's I wonder, thereby freeing up tickets for the fans?

Final

We know that we all won't be going to Wembley has the club thought of doing something for the fans at Goodison on big screens? Not the same but at least it would be all blues together.

surely the 25,000 tickets that we're getting are for sale to the fans and the x players and what not would be in that vip area anyway wouldn't they. maybe we've been given 32,000 again and the club have already taken 7,000 out for the ex players, players families and vips leaving the 25k just for the fans.

Hi - don't think my last post worked because I put in an email address or something. Spam potection I think. Anyway great news about the final! Am an Aussie Everton fan and will be in England next month visiting an elderly rel. Realise I won't be able to get a ticket to Wembley but is there anywhere Toffees who can't get there will be gathering to watch the game? Would love to hear. Cheers.

Cup Final Ticket Information – News Archive – News – evertonfc.com – The Official Website of Everton Football Club

Everton has announced details for the distribution of tickets for next month’s FA Cup Final with Chelsea.

The Club has received an allocation of 25,109 for the game at Wembley Stadium and has spent the weekend discussing how best to allocate those tickets amongst the Everton fanbase.

As previously communicated the Club is extremely disappointed with the number of tickets received from the Football Association and the unfortunate consequence of the allocation is that a number of Season Ticket holders will miss out. The Club regrets being unable to cater for some of its most loyal fans.

Despite the shortfall in tickets all Season Ticket holders and Half Season Ticket holders (STH) will be invited to apply for a Cup Final ticket. Tickets will be allocated to those STHs with the highest purchase history from the current campaign.

• In the first instance, the Club will allocate a Wembley ticket to any STH who has attended 3 or more additional games this season (competitive games involving Everton, home or away).

• In addition to the above, and as per the ticket terms and conditions, Cup Final tickets will be allocated to STHs who are subscribed to the Autocup scheme with the following priority:

1. To subscribers to BOTH the Home FA Cup and Away FA Cup Autocup scheme.
2. To those STHs who are subscribed to the Home FA Cup Autocup scheme.
3. To those STHs who are subscribed to the Away FA Cup Autocup scheme.

In the event that further tickets remain, a ballot will be implemented, with priority being given to those STHs with the highest purchase history from the 2008/09 season. Please note there will be no requirement for additional applications and the ballot will be conducted using the information from the original submissions.

How To Apply

Tickets are priced at: £93.00, £78.30, £58.65 and £34.30 with a £10 reduction for juniors and over 65s.

Applicants must be aware that the majority of tickets available to Everton supporters in the East section of Wembley Stadium are priced at £78.30 and £58.65

STHs may apply via the official Everton website – evertonfc.com - from 12pm on Wednesday, 29 April 2009, or, in writing to the Fan Centre, Goodison Park, Liverpool L4 4EL, in both cases indicating their first, second, third and fourth choice ticket preference.
The Everton fan centre will use their best endeavours to allocate the first choice preference but in the event that price of ticket is no longer available, will allocate a ticket from the second choice preference and so on.

When submitting the application, STHs should provide their customer number (located on the season smartcard), their name, full address, a daytime contact telephone number and payment details. Please do not send cash through the post.

Supporters submitting written applications are also asked to provide a valid email address and mobile telephone number on which they will be contacted with notification of receipt of their application, and the success, or otherwise of their application.

So you have to apply and then hope that the clowns in the "fan centre" dont cock up or lose your application. Sounds very, very dodgy to me.
