Perhaps they're looking at helping Bottas find a new seat or confirming perhaps some financial aspects before officially announcing Russell.

Russell will get the seat but he is still making a lot of mistakes in a pretty low pressure environment…really not convinced he’s going to do that much better than Bottas but we will see.

edit: Bit of quick testing in iRacing and I reckon its about 20-23 seconds lost in the pits this weekend

I know it's been mentioned a fair few times now, however it's still a good point to make: he looks good at qualifying but his race pace isn't remarkable, yet.

Far too many circuits are now 'difficult' when it comes to overtaking. I'd rather the cars were slower but better at overtaking than the current status-quo.
