Not a big fan of Zandvoort in any series although the new banking out of the final corner at least adds some uniqueness to the track. It's going to be incredibly hard to overtake. The main straight is just about the only spot to overtake. Hopefully tyre wear will be dramatic and will add a strategic element otherwise its going to be a dull race.

You take that back, my client informs me he would have stopped quick enough when hitting a stranded car and or marshall(s) when their helmets get stuck between the wheel and the floor of the car.

They have similar precedent, it's about whether the driver at least begins to ease off once reasonably given the opportunity to see the red flag.

It's not about expecting him to slam on the brakes immediately.

Logically, you're right, it would be harsh, but the problem is they've been harsh before and the rules aren't being applied consistently.

Far too narrow for me for a race track. I've been on go-kart tracks that look wider.

All the front runners starting on softs have pretty much got their hands tied to a 2 stop tomorrow.

10th down the team strategy boffins can really make up some places, particularly for the out of position cars.

A really good question and once I can't actually answer: I know it's a short-pit lane from what I've seen yesterday and today.

No surprise that Verstappen gets the pole, the Red Bull looks great around here.
But a monster effort from Lewis Hamilton to push him so close, and fantastic laps from Gasly and Giovinazzi too.

Chances of SC periods tomorrow must be extremely high.. could be pivotal in the key battle at the front.
