AM should have told Vettel to stop as soon as he crossed the line if it was marginal. A mistake by the team, can't really blame the FIA for following the rules.

Because when required they could extract 1L worth of fuel from the tank...

The teams usually tell them to stop so they have enough fuel left to give the 1L sample...

Aston Martin did the same but they miscalculated and couldn't get enough out of the car to give a 1L sample

You’re clearly ignoring the fact that Vettel hasnt been punished for not returning to the pits.

Perez had a hydraulic issue in Baku and most likely still gave the 1L sample of fuel as required.

There's a large difference between a driver making a clear and obvious error, which could have took his own team-mate out, and not complying with the rules.

I didn't want Seb disqualified, but even I can recognise the poor equivalence you're making because the rule is the rule.
