What a dramatic shift in the both WDC and WCC we have seen over the last 2 races. When Verstappen lined up on pole at the British Grand Prix with a 33 point lead it was almost unimaginable that he would be going into the summer break having lost the championship lead.

Long way to go, and lots of work to do for all the teams. It's all to play for, and the Winner of this epic battle will be whoever does the better job over the 2nd half of the season.

Woah woah woah.. Let's not get carried away..

I'm deadly serious.. I've never seen a battle as closely fought between the main title protagonists. They've gone wheel to wheel at almost every race, which is acutally quite unusual for F1.. for example over 2017-2018 when Ferrari got close, there were not that many occasion where Lewis and Seb were actually racing closely for position

Certainly one of the most dramatic, up there with Germany 2019, although from a purist point of view I do tend to prefer a straight fight with converging strategies rather than chaotic races that have a mixed up running order
I appreciate the straight fight aspect and of course that's important with best challenging each other, but I do feel a sprinkling of chaos and uncertainty is good.

It's nice to Perez and Ocon win races and Leclerc get two poles because I do believe it's important that more than a mere few have a belief they could win.

Yes, the best teams need to be concentrating on doing their utmost to dominate although the added factor of having to survive can keep them (more) humble.

Personally, I want to see the ups and down between Lewis and Max interspersed with having to deal with the madness we're seeing more often.

Very easy to forget that Giovinazzi is an F1 driver, not sure I've ever known a driver receive so little attention from both the media and fans.

Horror crash at the 24h of Spa earlier today. The engine actually comes out of one of the cars and barrel roles into the barrier

Genuinely wouldn’t be arsed. He got to spray the champagne on the podium and this piece of utter nonsense won’t take that result away from him.

What’s the normal penalty for this type of stuff?

Not sure tbh, would be bad PR for the sport so i reckon they will let it slide
