There is NO choice mate

Betting you go the wedding

No, im leaning more towards the game to be honest, infact its probably 70/30 at the moment. The fact that my mate works away and i wont see him untill a week before the game/wedding helps. I can get other mates and there will be other wedddings, but there is only 1 Fa Cup Semi-Final 2009.

it's our cup, end of. tell the rest not to show up for the semis or the final.
still can't believe we've got this far after the fookin teams we've been drawn against. neville hat-trick against man u? u better believe it.

No easy draw assuming Hull don't get through. In order, I would take:

1. Arsenal
2. Chelsea
3. United

Reckon just about everyone here will agree with that.

Actually I think we have more chance of beating United than Chelsea or Arsenal (but not Hull). I know Chelsea and Arsenal have been a bit inconsistent but the Hiddink and Eduardo factors will have really kicked in by April 18th/19th

what a bloody surprise that was. Manchester in the semi draw.

Someone decided that they wanted a United vs Arsenal final tie and just maybe that is how it will occur, 30 years after their epic encounter.

Even if we had drawn another side yesterday, and had we have won, in all probability we would have faced them in the final, but now we will never know.

Even so, back before we had to face a Tottenham side that included Barmby, Sheringham, Klinsmann and other top names and we still sent them packing 4-1, and few gave us any hope in that game let alone the final.

Common sense dictates that maybe this is as far as the adventure goes for us this year, but United have no divine right to win any game of soccer, and even with names out, on our day we can match anyone, and with Moyes in charge to rally the troops it yet still could happen.

Cautious yet optimistic.

We beat the RS and Villa without strikers and Louis IX will probably be fully fit by the time we play Utd. I am already assured of a ticket for the semi-final and I'm damn sure I'm gonna need another for the final and those reds are gonna be hoping mad!

This is our year (y)

I'd rather have United now rather than in the final. They're in top form, but are also in a lot of other competitions. Likely that they'd take lightly a semi-final rather than a final. I think ManU in the final would be unstoppable, but we could likely catch them off guard in a semi. Remember our last outing? Only a Ronaldo PK could do us in.

I like our chances.

this is where your bid for a clean sweep stops s.a.f. cos you is gonna choke on a toffee.

maybe we could adapt the hull song for the end of this one and sing "you've just choked on some toffees, choked on some toffees"

Yeah the media will be talking about a dream final of Utd v Chelsea/Arsenal but they were dreaming of a Utd v Spurs showdown in 95 and we all know what happened then
