Should be focused solely on ending the silverware drought. It's been far too long. Cannot see that happening without new characters being brought in though. This lot would lose to a non league side in the final if they had a trophy on a plate for them. Schneiderlin would get injured beforehand, Lukaku would be anonymous, Jags would be consoling poor little Rosco from the boo boys, and some ex RS would have hit a thirty yard screamer then cleared 2 off the line.

Yes, apart from Lukaku, the best signing for 40 years..and Barkley who Martinez pretty much breathed life into his career and Davies who he brought through via Unsworth in a system he set up.

Besides all them, yes.

LOL

You missed off Mason Holgate and Arouna Kone, unlucky though, Davies and Barkley though.

lollollollollol

You quite sure about that?

It was a trick question to Dave who gobbled up that bait like a pro.

Assuming we do invest well in the summer where will we finish......I know season is not over

I think it's too much of an assumption that we will do well this summer. I will hold fire and see what my beloved club has in store for me in the transfer window first.

If it's anything like the too many millions on Bolasie window, then I will kick Everton in the balls and agree with the @davek 8th/9th prediction and the struggle with extra games.

We are not going to push on unless we buy a new GK that isn't a liability, a strong back four with attacking fullbacks who can defend, an attacking mid or two, a winger and a striker or two should Lukaku be sold.

Premier League and Europa are priority. I'd say premier league more so until the latter stages of the Europa League if we get far.

5th and a trophy would do nicely. But that shouldn't mean we give everything in getting top 4.

Dead boring answer this, but I wanna see progress on this year, and a clear plan of improvement.

This year we've seen it compared to last, improved defence, more goals, more clean sheets, tougher to beat.

More of the same next season and I'll be happy (ish) with that.

Ideally would like to see us seriously challenging the top 4, but suspect we're 3 or 4 top quality first team players away from that, which will be difficult for us to bring in.

Top 6.

A better run in both domestic cups, and a double over the RS.

Not expecting much from the Europa Cup.

No use even trying to predict next season. There will likely be many changes in the next 4 months. Predicting results at this point is akin to a blind man throwing darts. They're more apt to hit their buddy in the head than to get an accurate prediction.

Tough to say at this point as I don't feel we have the squad to handle the Europa grind and we are about 4 players off from competing for top 4 in the league, as things stand. If Lukaku leaves I don't see us replacing his production but we could be a better squad overall. Not sure how that translates to wins.

I'm looking forward to starting next season with a squad who have been under an actual fitness system for several months now
