Top 7 and quarter finals of Europa and I'd be content.

Reading that back is depressing but at least it's viable/realistic.

...continued and visible progression on and off the pitch. Lukaku and Barkley are regular starters so it might take time to find the right replacements, especially for Lukaku but there will be life after both leave.

I'd just like to see Schneiderlin and Bolasie remaining fit for most of the season, us not being complete gutless cowards in derbies, and finally the top 6 away curse broken. Oh and Besic reigning supreme in the middle of our team.

Today Chelsea showed us yet again how far away we are from challenging for the title, I`ve gone for top 6 but if we hadn't had that bad run of games after the first 5/6 when we won 1 in 11 games, we certainly would be in with a top 4 shout. But I`m not letting myself get carried away.

I`d like to see us have a good cup run, this season has been disappointing in that respect, looking forward to the Europa League and I hope that doesn't hinder us in the league like other teams that have been in it previously.

Depends on who comes in and I`d like a season when we don't lose to the [Poor language removed], becoming a recurring theme....

Would be nice to have at least one weekend feeling absolutely boss about Everton rather than another season of 'Everton that'

If Lukaku stays and we sign better quality players to support him, we will progress.

If he leaves, we will regress in the short term at the very least, because I don't see two prem-ready goalscorers in their early to mid-twenties available anywhere for £25m each.

Bare minimum in the summer we need a starting keeper, 1 starting standard CB, a creative wing/10, and a decent striker to come in to initially cover and (hopefully as the season unfolds,) compete with Rom. If we can get those and keep Lukaku, I reckon we could challenge for a top 6 place and try to win the EL.

Expectations for me.

Going into the last 3-4 games of the season with something still to play for, be that being in the mix for the top 4, the fa cup or the Europa league, preferably two of those things.

Maintaining our home record to a great degree and improving our away performances and results significantly.

And for the squad to finally step its game up rather than go missing in crucial games.

Oh yeah, and a summer where we get business done early and markedly improve the quality of players in the team

Win the Europa league please, and close the gap on 'the big 6'.

It will be difficulty to overtake any of them by next season unless they have a bad season. Then again, Arsene Wenger staying on, being stubborn, and knowing better than everyone else will help. Spurs playing at Wembley could be a real problem for them. Terrible timing for them as they should be looking to win the league next year.

It all depends on the quality of the window. If we can invest upwards of 50 million net (or over 100 million gross) astutely and ensure there are goals in the team we should be looking at top 4. If we have a window as poor as last year we will be in a similar position.

That Europa league is a godsend really. I'm not having a go, but sides like Celta Vigo are no better than us. If we can get out of the group well we should be targeting this next season along with the other cup competitions. We can win the Europa League next season under Koeman.

Fail to spend (which I fully expect) = 8th/9th. The extra games in Europe and (better had be) extra games in the domestic cups will take its toll.

I think that might be right mate. A lot depends on the summer window, if it's a shambles like last time you are spot on. That being said, there is currently a big gap between then top 7 and everyone else. West Brom are awful in 8th. Stoke and Southampton aren't much better below them. While we may lose points there is a big drop to those teams. I can see Leicester making a better go of it next season, and possibly Palace under Allardyce getting to 50 points. Of the rest I can't see many getting better.
