I think there have many posts bemoaning the quality of our u18s last year and this year so we agree on that. I know you've seen Feeney locally more than me , but I'm still hopeful on him. The physicality is not there yet, but when I've seen him playing against his peer age for England U17s/18 he's always looked composed and decent . Arguably if you are going to make it you should be outstanding at that level , but as I say I'm happy to give him time . Centre back is a difficult one to call and we've got four "youngsters" all older than Feeney who are still to make a breakthrough into our first team as a CB, Galloway, Holgate, Pennington and Browning so it's not easy.I've posted it may times in the last year but I know not many agree.
Apart from our current golden generation, last years u23s, there's nothing behind them.
Feeney is not great, Baningime neither. They are the best of a bad bunch but nothing special whatsoever in my opinion.
