Everton Youth Teams Thread

Galloway and Browning off to Sunderland on year loans , hope they get good game time, that youngster McGeady apparently also going there permanently. Looks like Robinson or Connolly could be in with a shout of providing young squad cover for Baines if they can impress pre season.
Are Connolly or Robinson good enough to step up to the PL
Cover at LB is a priority I'd reckon now with Galloway out on loan , unless Garbutt is given a chance

apparently garbutt has been told he can leave. might be injured too.
connolly and robinson def have the potential to step up.
if we could get a more experienced full back in that can play both left and right side when necessary it would be ideal.

In the last few months we've appointed and let go Peter Vink (US sports analyst type) and Dave Adams (as head of coaching lasted 3 days after an apparently extensive hunt)

Now seems Kevin Sheedy gone too.

Seems like there is some division about the future direction of the academy.

Hope Sheedy is OK and he is moving on to a managerial role or something. It will be interesting to see if we get;

A) and ex Everton player, would this be considered as a promotion for Ferguson?
B) One of Steve Walsh's mates from Leicester
C) One of Ronald Koeman's mates from Holland / Spain

Still a few announcements to be made regarding the Academy too...

I'm not totally disagreeing with you, but that Adams was Vint's man though wasn't he? I wonder if Sheedy had wanted to take over running the academy, the club wanted to look in fresher directions, and he's made the decision to go to the Middle East?

I do not think there is any division in direction of our Academy.

It is Mosh´s way or the Door.

Unsworth looks to be very well regarded by our Persian Leader.

I think we are going to see a lot of players go on loan this season and the spotlight will fall a lot more on Big Joe´s role.
