I never thought I’d miss the old “ squeeze it into 2 mins , stick some horrible music on it” approach but we now seem to have gone with “ a dad standing in the corner with his iPhone” . Shocking really , surely someone is filming and analysing these games properly.

Sometimes I think I should just email them and say "lads, your content is crap, pay me a reasonable amount and I'll come pu there and sort it for you".

An interesting line up, I’d love to know the thinking of Pita wearing 9 , I seem to remember him playing at right back, midfield and right wing already this season . Plus you’d think they’d save the u18s for Friday - not a moan just interested in the thinking behind the team selection.

We seem to be on a disappointing run in the u21 PL2 that’s 5 or 6 games without a win I think. On the positive side, 4 u18 players starting , two of them first year Scholars . It’s backed up by a number of u16s playing at u18 level so we’re presenting a good pathway , at this level anyway.

If the U18's win at Man City on Friday in the FA Youth Cup QF they could meet either Crystal Palace or Blackburn Rovers in the semi finals. Palace won 3-2 at Villa last night with two stoppage time goals and Blackburn had a late winner at Turf Moor to beat Burnley.
In the last QF Man Utd play Sunderland next Wednesday (18/3).
